- "Saatgutbehandlungsmittel" est le terme générique regroupant les produits phytopharmaceutiques utilisés contre les maladies fongiques, les ravageurs, et comme repellants contre les oiseaux qui attaquent les graines. "Beizmittel" est un terme spécifique très courant correspondant à "fongicide". Il est toutefois utilisé très largement pour "traitement de semences" (lutte contre les ravageurs p.ex.).
