  • John Francis Dore (1881–1938) is best known as the former two-time mayor of Seattle who guided the city during the time of the Great Depression, but he also made significant contributions as an attorney, including his defense of bootlegger Roy Olmstead in a landmark Fourth Amendment case, Olmstead v.
