Definición

  • Although it has been known for the last decade that prior victimization is the best predictor of future risk, recent research suggests that future patterns of victimization may be improved by considering the similarity (in terms of geographical proximity or otherwise) of current and potential victims. The ability to predict accurately when and where (or against whom or what) crime will occur has obvious implications for crime prevention and detection.
