The Crisis (journal)

Definición

  • The Crisis was founded in 1910 by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored Peoples (NAACP), and it has historically served as the voice of the organization, chronicling its growth and its participation and leadership in the struggles by African Americans for greater civil rights and equality. Under the leadership of W. E. B. Du Bois, cofounder of the NAACP and the editor of The Crisis from its inception in 1910 to 1935, The Crisis emerged as the premier African American magazine of the early 20th century.
