effects of combat
Definición
- Combat places tremendous physical and psychological demands on troops sent off to war, and society must understand that soldiers expect and deserve recognition for their hardships and sacrifices; in addition, those sent off to war need the support of their government and of those on the home front. In all of America's wars, support from the home front helped soldiers cope and motivated them to fight. [Source: Encyclopedia of War & American Society; Combat, Effects of]
