correlates of victimization
Definición
- Correlates of victimization refer to either the characteristics of victims—such as their age, race, and sex—or the contexts that are predictive or statistically associated with higher risk of victimization. Scientifically locating such correlates enables policy makers to target prevention efforts toward those persons or situations likely to be targets of crime.
