  • The National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), formerly known as the National Household Survey on Drug Abuse, is a nationwide survey used to determine substance abuse trends by household. Endorsed by Section 505 of the Public Health Service Act, the NSDUH is supported by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), a federal agency under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
