  • Peer pressure refers to a kind of dynamic, often negative, describing the relationships between and among people, usually of the same age, in which one of the parties is influenced to act in ways or to believe in particular values or to adapt attitudes or behaviors that do not necessarily represent or reflect their own judgment or their own preferences.
