co-occurrence of victimization

Definición

  • Co-occurrence of victimization is a fairly broad term describing an individual's experience of multiple types of victimization. Although advances in research and practice in criminology largely address separate types of victimization (e.g., sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse), there is considerable evidence that persons who experience one type of victimization are at risk for other types.
