  • The National Women's Political Caucus (NWPC) is a multipartisan-membership organization that has drawn national attention to the underrepresentation of women in public office, has trained and supported women candidates for office, and has worked to increase the number of women delegates to national party conventions. The NWPC was founded in July 1971 at a meeting attended by 324 women of widely different backgrounds and organizational affiliations.
