politics and victims
Definición
- Politics and victims, or victim politics, refers to how victim discourse is produced to identify the appropriate characteristics of victims and who has access to the legitimate victim label. Although technically, a victim is a person or group of persons who has experienced some sort of physical, mental, or emotional harm from another person, group of persons, or entity (i.e., corporation or nation), it does not mean that all victims are viewed as such by society.
