  • THE SAN ANTONIO Cancer Institutes (SACI) represents the combined cancer research programs of two institutions located in San Antonio, Texas: the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) and the Cancer Therapy and Research Center (CTRC), a nonprofit corporation and freestanding outpatient clinic founded in 1974. The SACI was formed to foster integration of the outpatient cancer services and basic, preclinical, and clinical research programs supported by the CTRC with the scientific and academic programs at UTHSCSA.
