feminist theory: second wave
Definición
- The terminology of waves as applied to feminism is generally used to describe periods of growth and mobilization within the movement for women's rights and corresponding higher degrees of public attention paid to the struggle. While some scholars and critics debate the nuances of the precise categorization of waves, the second wave is generally used to describe a period of activist movement from the mid- to late 1960s to the mid-1980s.
