  • With its first data collection occurring in 1956, the Seattle Longitudinal Study (SLS) is one of the longest-running longitudinal studies of cognitive development in adulthood. Study findings have shown that patterns of cognitive change throughout adulthood are ability specific and demonstrate significant interindividual variability.
