state blue laws

Definición

  • Blue laws, also known as Sunday closing laws, or simply Sunday laws, were originally established to set aside a day to celebrate or honor particular God(s) where no government business or private labor was conducted. This practice began with the Roman observance of a day of worship to the sun god and carried over into the Christian faith as an observation of the Sabbath.
