Definición
- Dramaturgy is related to deviance as a method to analyze deviant behavior in social context, and to analyze how people use “impression management” to avoid being perceived as deviant. The concept was first elaborated by the sociologist Erving Goffman, and later developed by Victor Turner in the field of anthropology. [Source: Encyclopedia of Social Deviance; Dramaturgy]
