Definición

  • In 2011–12, over a dozen state legislatures considered proposals to adopt so-called right-to-work (RTW) statutes, which make it illegal for unions to require that everyone who benefits from the terms of a union contract pay their share of the costs of negotiating and administering it. In February 2012, Indiana became the first state to newly adopt RTW since 2001, and the 23rd state in the country to do so. [Source: Sociology of Work: An Encyclopedia; Right-to-Work]
