- An otolaryngologist, more commonly known as ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) surgeon, is a physician that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the head and neck of both children and adults. More specifically, their special skill includes diagnosing and managing diseases of the sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity, and upper pharynx (mouth and throat) as well as structures of the neck and face.
