Definition(s)
- An evolutionary approach to human relationships presumes that interactions between parents, children, siblings, friends, lovers, and enemies are better understood by viewing them within the perspective of comparative biology. On the one hand, the approach assumes deep commonalities among social behaviors of animal species ranging from ants and bees to chimpanzees and human beings.
