Definition(s)
- Campaign advertising is the use of paid-for political ads to communicate a political party or candidate's message to the public, in an effort to influence decision making and win votes. Campaign ads provide the opportunity to send carefully crafted, unadulterated messages directly to the electorate and are an integral component of the information environment in an election campaign.
