- La topologie algébrique, anciennement appelée topologie combinatoire, est la branche des mathématiques appliquant les outils de l'algèbre dans l'étude des espaces topologiques. Plus exactement, elle cherche à associer de manière naturelle des invariants algébriques aux structures topologiques associées.
